1. Introduction Welcome to Norfolk Tanks. These Terms and Conditions outline the agreement between Norfolk Tanks (“the Company”) and the Customer (“you”) for the supply and installation of fuel tanks. By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Scope of Services
- Norfolk Tanks specializes in the removal of old fuel tanks and the installation of new fuel tanks.
- We do not service, install, or modify boilers, and our services are strictly limited to fuel tank replacement.
3. Orders and Deposits
- A 10% non-refundable deposit is required upon placing an order.
- This deposit secures your order and covers administrative and preparatory costs.
- In the event of order cancellation, this deposit will not be refunded under any circumstances.
4. Pricing and Payment
- All prices quoted are subject to VAT where applicable.
- Full payment must be made upon completion of the installation unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- We reserve the right to adjust our pricing due to unforeseen circumstances, and you will be notified of any changes before work commences.
- All works notifications will be completed upon receipt of the full balance of the invoice.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
- If you wish to cancel your order, you must notify us in writing.
- The 10% deposit is strictly non-refundable.
- Additional cancellation charges may apply depending on the stage of the order and any costs already incurred by the Company.
6. Liability and Warranty
- Norfolk Tanks guarantees that all work will be carried out with due care and skill.
- We do not accept liability for any issues arising from the boiler system, as it falls outside the scope of our services.
- Any warranty on new fuel tanks is provided by the manufacturer, and we will assist in claiming under warranty where applicable.
7. Access and Site Preparation
- The Customer must ensure clear and safe access to the site for the removal and installation of fuel tanks.
- Any additional costs incurred due to access restrictions or site obstructions will be the responsibility of the Customer.
8. Health and Safety
- Norfolk Tanks operates in compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Customers are responsible for ensuring a safe environment for our team to carry out the work.
9. Governing Law
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
- Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
